GRAHAM MARSHALL pizzicatoman

It was in the spring of 2008 that a group of musicians responded to my invitation to get together to form an orchestra that would play music of a light-hearted nature.  We were able to meet in the community room of St. Martin's Church in Castleton, Rochdale.  For  a couple of years we met on Monday evenings and rehearsed a wide range of pieces I arranged for the players we had. We gave several concerts during this time, all of which were well attended and gave much pleasure both to the players and the audiences.

After a period of enforced silence, we began to make music again, and have already given very successful public concerts.

New players are always welcome. If you'd like to join us, please come along.

At the moment - April 2019 - we could do with more string players and a timpanist.

Meanwhile, if you would like to get in touch with me, please do so by email.
