 GRAHAM MARSHALL b. 10.11.1938 in Birmingham, UK 
         *studied music at Durham University 1957 - 63
                    *married to Eleanor in 1963
           *father of Stephen 1964 and Peter 1966 
           *grandfather of Joseph 1999 and Elisabeth 2009
           *ordained in the Church of England 1965
             and retired from Parochial Ministry 2002,
remaining very active in leading worship where parishes are without a priest for one reason or another.

        I now spend a great deal of time composing music in various genres and conducting the Rochdale Light Orchestra.

*In July 2009 I became Vice-chairman of the North West Composers Association.

I have recently founded the Rochdale Light Orchestra. If you are an instrumentalist of at least Grade 5 competence, we would be delighted to welcome you into the ranks.  Have a look at:

AND NOW I'm also Musical Director (Conductor) of the Middleton Musical Society (Choral), which has been making music since the middle of the 18th century. At our first full concert evening on May 21st 2011, the programme included Fauré's Requiem and my own St. Denys Mass (1977) now extended with Soprano and Baritone soloists to make a Mass for Peace.   

Here I am at the organ of the church of St.-Christophe in Tourcoing, Rochdale's twin town in NE France.
